Some bars open. Others endure. Since December 12th, 2012, The Original Old Fashioned has stood by one simple and demanding belief: that a great cocktail needs no artifice. Only technique, quality ingredients, and the time it takes to do it right.
Fourteen years on, we are proud to present our new 2026 menu.
This is not a reset. It is a deepening.
The menu is built around the great historical families of mixology: Old Fashioned, Martini, Manhattan, Negroni, Sour, Savory, Exotic and Non-Alcoholic. Understood not as closed recipes, but as languages. Structures to engage with, evolve, and when the moment calls for it, break with intention.
Here is a journey through some of the cocktails you'll find on the new menu.
Old Fashioned: where it all begins
The Old Fashioned is not just a cocktail. It is a statement of principles. Sugar, bitters, and spirit. Nothing more, nothing less.
In our menu, this family becomes a space for exploration without ever losing its soul. A few highlights:
Old Fashioned Flight (€20) — Three mini Old Fashioneds selected by the bartender. The ideal way to understand the versatility of this structure in a single visit.
Old Fashion Bottle In Bond (€17) — Bottle in Bond Bourbon 100 proof, aged a minimum of four years under government control, sugar and Old Fashioned bitters. The most classic and honest expression of the family.
Snickers Old Fashioned (€16) — Peanut-infused bourbon, chocolate bitters and caramel syrup, served with a small chocolate praliné. A playful wink that respects the structure completely.
Porcini Old Fashioned (€18) — Bourbon, porcini mushroom liqueur, rhubarb bitters and a white truffle chocolate bonbon. Probably the most unexpected cocktail on the menu — and one of the most memorable.
Tiramisu Old Fashioned (€16) — Cold brew made with dark rum and bourbon, chocolate bitters and tiramisu foam. Dessert and cocktail, in one glass.
Manhattan: strength and elegance in balance
The Manhattan was born in late 19th-century New York and quickly became a universal classic: whiskey, sweet vermouth and aromatic bitters. A structure that defines balance, depth and elegance.
On our menu, three interpretations:
Al Capone (€15) — Rye whisky, rosso vermouth, Amaro Montenegro, orange and rhubarb bitters. A Manhattan with character: complex, bitter and deeply layered.
Bonju Bonju (€15) — Fundador Brandy, rosso vermouth, triple sec, cherry liqueur and Angostura. A warmer, fruitier reading of the family with a Mediterranean soul.
Austin Xerri (€15) — Rye whisky, rosso vermouth, orange bitters and absinthe. For those who want their Manhattan to speak a little louder.
Dry Martini: absolute precision
The Dry Martini is not explained. It is served. At The Original Old Fashioned, it is served with the utmost respect for its structure: gin, dry vermouth and enough time to do it properly.
A few of our interpretations:
Alpes Martini (€15) — London Dry Gin, dry vermouth and Amaro Spirito delle Dolomiti. A Martini with altitude — and Alpine bitterness.
Black Squid Risotto Martini (€15) — Gin, sake, parmesan cheese and black squid lemon foam. One of the most gastronomic cocktails on the menu, and one of the most surprising.
Mandarin Gimlet (€15) — London Dry Gin, tangerine liqueur and calamansi cordial. Oriental taste, Gimlet structure, a character entirely its own.
Negroni: bitter, herbal, perfect
The Negroni was born in Florence in 1919 when Count Camillo Negroni asked his bartender to strengthen his Americano with gin instead of soda. The result was one of the most iconic cocktails in history: equal parts gin, red vermouth and Italian bitter.
On our menu, four versions that honor the spirit without repeating it:
Holy Negroni (€14) — Palo Santo-infused gin, white aperitif bitter, Amaro del Capo and ambrato vermouth. Aromatic, spiritual and deep.
Brandon (€15) — Peated Scotch, blended Scotch, homemade gentian liqueur and white bitter. A Negroni that tastes of peat and conviction.
Il Conte (€14) — London Dry Gin, ambrato vermouth, rhubarb liqueur and white aperitif bitter. Perhaps the most elegant version of the family.
Shaolin (€14) — Grappa moscato, umeshu and white bitter. A meeting between Italy and Japan that works better than it has any right to on paper.
The Sour Family: balance as a foundation
The Sour is one of the oldest structures in mixology. Spirit, acid, sweet. A formula that has produced some of the most universally loved cocktails in the world: Daiquiri, Margarita, Pisco Sour, Whiskey Sour.
On our menu, the Sour family is also the space of greatest creative freedom:
Pisco Mamacita (€14) — Pisco, pear liqueur, orange blossom water, lemon and egg white. Light, floral and with that silky texture that only egg white delivers. One of the most ordered cocktails in the house.
El Pendejo (€15) — Mezcal, dry vermouth, Murtago Bitter, lime juice and chipotle powder. Smoky, spicy and full of attitude.
Wolf Gang (€14) — Roquefort cheese-infused gin in a citrus drink with lemon and bitter orange. Savory and Sour at once: one of the boldest cocktails on the menu.
Japanyse Democracy (€15) — Vodka, sake, passion fruit liqueur, yuzu juice and passion fruit syrup. Fresh, exotic, with a delicate acidity that makes it very easy to drink.
Exotic: a journey in every glass
The exotic cocktail family is an invitation to travel. It follows no single strict formula, only a shared intention: to transport the palate through fruity, spiced and refreshing flavors.
Passion Jungle Bird (€14) — Dark rum, Jamaican rum, red bitter, lime and pineapple juice. A Tiki classic reinterpreted with a voice of its own.
Papa Don't Punch Milk Punch (€16) — Don Papa rum, rye whiskey, almond milk, lime, panela syrup and cinnamon. A silky, enveloping Milk Punch with a sweetness that never cloys.
Kentucky Passion Mule (€15) — Bourbon, Passoã, mint, lime and ginger ale. Long, refreshing and with that tropical note that makes it the cocktail of the season.
Savory: where the bar meets the kitchen
The Savory family is the most unexpected corner of the menu. Cocktails that step away from traditional sweetness and acidity to explore saline, spiced and umami territories.
BBQ Old Fashioned (€17) — BBQ sauce-infused rye whisky, secret Old Fashioned bitters and crispy bacon. Yes, bacon. And it works.
House Secret Bloody Mary (€14) — Our secret house recipe. Once you try it, you won't forget it.
El Pancho (€15) — Mezcal, NAV dry vermouth, green capsicum extract, lime juice, homemade Bloody Mary water and a hint of garlic liqueur. A Mexican gazpacho in a glass.
Non-Alcoholic: not an alternative, a choice
The mocktail section at The Original Old Fashioned is not an afterthought. It is an essential part of the menu, built with the same care and intention as everything else: alcohol-free spirits, non-alcoholic vermouths, infusions and acid solutions that deliver complexity, texture and depth.
Dill & Do (€10) — Martini Vibrante, fresh dill, lime and ginger ale. Aromatic and genuinely refreshing.
Flower Power (€10) — Martini Florale, lime, pineapple, egg white and soda. That foam texture that means you won't miss the alcohol.
Virgin Mary (€10) — Our secret non-alcoholic Bloody Mary, with tomato juice, lemon and exactly the right amount of heat.
A note on the book
